Photographer Hendrik Pieters traveled to Stuttgart specifically to capture this unusual setting. This series of images was created with great attention to detail. The gymnast is a competitive athlete. Unfortunately, the safety precautions in the studio (no mats on the floor) were insufficient to showcase his talent to its fullest. However, safety is paramount.
